Henrik Larsson born September 20, 1971 is the greatest football player of his time . He has just played his last ever SPL game for Celtic, his final game for Celtic will be this Saturday 22 of May, in a Cup final . A farewell game has been organised against Sevilla on May 25. It will be one of the biggest bashes for one of the greatest Celts.
He started his professional career playing for Hogaborg at the age of 17. He subsequently played for Helsingburg and Feyenoord. He was signed by Celtic in July 1997 for a fee of £650,000. His debut, playing Hibs at Easter Road, was less than spectacular; he inadvertantly passed the ball to the other side, resulting in a 2-1 loss for Celtic. Although he made it up with spectacular goals over the years.
.Larsson has scored over 230 goals for Celtic and in 2001, he won the "Golden Shoe" award for being Europe's top goal scorer. In 2003 Sweden nominated Larsson as the greatest Swedish football player of the last 50 years.
