The Latest Signings

Shaun Maloney has signed a new three -year contract with the Hoops. Maloney is currently on the road to fitness, after picking up an injury last season. The twenty-one year old, has made 77 apperances for Celtic since making his debut at Ibrox in a 3-0 victory for the Hoops in April 2001.

Central defender, Stephen McManus has also put pen to paper by extending his contract until the end of Juner 2006.

John Kennedy has also singed a new contract . The 20 year old  is currently working on gentle rehabilitation after suffering a horrendous knee injury in debut for Scotland.

WOHO!! Aiden McGeady has just signed a brand new 4 year contract with Celtic!!! He made his debut against Hearts, where he scored a cracker of a goal. He will be vital to us as Hernik has left!

Celtic have finally made their first real signing of the season. Henri Camara from Wolves has joined Celtic for a year loan costing 1.2 million. Hopefully he might be able work with Chris Sutton and try have a good striking partnership.

Juniho has signed a two-year contract with Celtic, recieving the famous No.7 shirt. It seems he has passed his fitness test and is ready to make his debut in the first Old Firm game of the season. His midfield role will come in handy since we have never replaced Lubo. Good Luck to Juniho.

Finally John Hartson has signed a 2 year deal with Celtic!! Thank god for that, he is playing amazing this season.

Stephen Henchoz is a new celtic defender, has signed until the end of the season from Liverpool.

Craig Bellamy is another new face for Celtic, he is on loan until the end of the season from Newcastle.He is absolutely brillaint. PLEASE STAY!!!!!

Bobo balde has renewed his contract and has signed the dot until 2007.

Also in the January transfer market, former Wolves striker Henri Camara has left Celtic and went to Southampton. In perspective not a big loss.

Talks are underway at the moment to keep Craig Bellamy until next season, although Martin has made it clear he wants him to stay, somehow the board will need to come up with some cash and soon.

Juniho has left Celtic and returned to Brazil. The Brazilian has had only 14 starts to his career at Celtic due to the rising talents of Aiden McGeady. Celtic have given him the oppurtunity to leave and he has

The final Old Firm game of the season has finally been arranged, on Sunday, April 24 @ 12.15. It looks like the league could be decided on this game. MON THE HOOPS. Celtic won 2-0 to go 5 points clear but only to it give away on the last game of the season against Motherwell

Rab Douglas has left Celtic after 4 years at the club. Sorry to say he had to go, but he has cost the team in really important games. Marshall should have never have been taken out, hopefully he is our No.1 for season 05/06

Craig Bellemay has also left Celtic and moved to Blackburn Rovers with manager Mark Hughes. Amazing how another player has slept through the hand of the Celtic board.

Unfortunately, Jackie McNamara has unexpectdely left Celtic and moved to the premeship.

So far this season, Gorodn Stachan has signed Polish goal keeper and a striker; Arutr Boruch and Maceij Zurawski. Also brought to Celtic was defender Mo Kamara and midfilder Jeremie Aliadiere. Hopefully these will improve the perofmance of Celtic for the forthcoming games.

Strachan has signed, 25 year old Adam Virgo.

Late signings from Strachan have included Paul Telfer and Shunshuke Nakamuara.

Dui Wei has returned to his former club Shangia.

Keano, Keano!! Roy Keane has signed a 2 year contract @Celtic!!!

Chris Sutton has left Celtic to join Birmingham?!!!?! Gutted

Janaury Transfer- Kenny Miller and Gary Caldwell have signed pre-season contracts and will hopefully be joing Celtic in the summer.

Mark Wilson has joined Celtic along with Dion Dublin.

Neil Lennon has admitted he is consdering returning to play for Northern Ireland. It has been almost two years since he withdrew himself after recieving death threats. However, have recieving a great deal of support and coutless requests to change his mind, Lennon admits it is working.

While the rest of his teamates are resting, Stilian Petrov is preparing to lock heads with King Henrik. Captain of Bulgaria, Stilian later this month is facing old teamate , King Henrik at this year's Euro 2004. Stilian joked;" Let's hope he is having a bad day! We have experinced and quality defenders in our side and the all know about Henrik!  Stilian and Neil are leading contenders for captain of Celtic as both have been oustanding this season.

Henrik Larsson came back in style last night after two amence goals against Bulgaria in Euro 2004. His performance was amazing as usual. The thought of him not be with us next season would bring a tear to any celtic suporter!! We wish him the best luck and can't wait to see him in the final!

Unfortunely all was not good for our man Stilian Petrov, whose team lost 5-0. Stilian was brilliant(Of Course) and the result did not reflect the game, possesion and shots on target was kept up by Bulgaria. A draw would be fairer.

Sweden have made it through to the quarter finals of EURO 2004 after a 2-2 draw with Denmark . Unfortunely Bulgaria were put out.

Sweden have been put out of Euro 2004 by Holland. The gmae it's self was mince, Henrik was never given the chance of the ball, as Imbravich(sp) was greedy with the ball; missed a setter though. Holland were'nt to impressive either, in penalites it resulted in a 4-5 loss to Sweden.

The news everyone has dreaded is confirmed, Henrik Larsson has signed a 1 year contract for Barcalona. The Celtic great will probably face his old team in next season's Champoins League or UEFA Cup.

Martin O'Neil , today has recived an OBE for his services to football and dedicated it to his players. His wife, Geraldine and two daughter accompined him to Buckingham Palace where he recived it.

Johan Mjallby has left the SPL for the Spanish La Legan to join Levante. He has had seriuos injuries with his knee and has been unable to secure a place in the first team.

The Champions League draws have just been drawn and Celtic are facing old teamate HENRIK LARSSON. In Group F Celtic have to beat Barcalona, AC Millan & Shakta Dontesk. To face & beat Barcalona is something that will take great strength and quality, which i belive Celtic have. So the rest of the teams should be a doddle to beat.......?!?!? Good Luck to the Bhoys!!!

There are majot doubts concerning the future of John Harton. The welshman is currently having talks with Martin but it doesn't look as if Celtic are willing to give a three-year contract or the amount of wages he want's. Although this is all speculation;hopefully John will be with the bhoys for a few seasons yet.

The testitimonal of Jackie McNamara will be at Parakhead on Sunday the 29 of May against the Republic of Ireland.

Celtic in the Tennets Cup next fixture will be against Ross County or Clyde, depending thier result.

Celtic had a comfortable victory over Clyde, a 5-0 goal thriller scores including Bellamy and Hartson. Celtic now face Hearts @ Hampden on April9,12.30 kick off.

Martin O'Neill has resigned as Celtic manager, although not by choice. His wife is serioulsy ill and understandably he wants to be with her. As of 1 of June, Gordon Strachan will be the new manger of Celtic FC. Good Luck to him but mainly to Martin and his family.

Celtic have lost the league after losng 2 goals in the last 2 minutes of thier game against Motherwell, meaning rangers were given the league again.

Celtic won the Scottish Cup against Dundee United in a really poor game with the only goal coming in the 11 minute from Thommo. This was Martin O'Neill's last game as the Celtic manager.

Jackie Mcnamara testimonal was on Sunday the 26, with a return for Henrik in his celtic strip it also saw the return of Lubo and Simon Donnelly.It was great to see Henrik and Lubo back and a great way for Martin O'Neill to bow out.

Neil Lennon has recieved  only a 3 match ban!! after confronting old firm ref Stuart Dougal after he give him a red card. Dougal was also fined £200for his actions after the match.

Chris Sutton and Didie Agathe look to return to the side for tomorrow's night CIS game against Falkirk

Celtic have been drawn against Rangers for the quarter finals of the CIS cup. It will be played at Parkhead with a 7.45 KO. Beat the huns again 2-0. EASY, EASY, EASY!

Celtic manage to be kicked out the league cup after being beat 2-0 by Clyde.......

Celtic won 2-1 in the CIS semi's against Motherwell and will now face Dunfermilne in the final on the 19 of March.
